1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Story Arc (“the Service”), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

Story Arc is a brand visibility analysis platform that monitors your brand's presence across various AI models. Our service includes:

• Brand monitoring across multiple AI models
• Analysis and reporting of brand visibility
• Team collaboration features
• Query execution and results storage

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your password
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Transmit harmful or malicious content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use the service for competitive analysis of our platform

5. Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the Service, to understand our practices.

6. Billing and Payments

The free plan includes a monthly allowance of credits on the free AI models. Pay as you go is billed per credit, where a credit is one AI model answering one prompt:

• Pay as you go has a monthly minimum charge, which includes a number of credits; credits beyond those are invoiced monthly in arrears at the price shown in the app when they are used
• Some AI models cost more than one credit per answer, as shown in the app before you run a prompt
• Prices and credits per model follow what AI providers charge us and may change. We give at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change takes effect; new models may launch at a higher number of credits
• You set a monthly spend cap; prompts pause when it is reached until you raise it or the month resets
• New Zealand customers pay GST on top of the listed price; customers elsewhere are not charged New Zealand GST
• You can stop pay as you go at any time; usage up to then is invoiced at the end of the month

By using paid features, you agree to:

• Provide accurate billing information
• Pay all charges incurred under your account
• Accept that fees are non-refundable except as required by law

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Story Arc shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
